PCOS is a condition where the ovaries produce an abnormal amount of Androgen leading to cyst formation in the ovaries. Menstrual irregularity, acne formation, obesity and mood swings are some of the commo0n symptoms of PCOS. Chronic stress can worsen the symptoms of PCOS. “It’s common to focus on diet/exercise/supplements when it comes to PCOS … but we often forget about stress. Chronic stress can wreak havoc on the body, especially since PCOS is a hormone condition,” wrote Dietitian Martha McKittrick.(Freepik)
