India T20 World Cup squad press conference Live Updates: BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar shared his views on the omission of KL Rahul from the T20 World Cup 2024 squad. Agarkar said that they needed someone to bat in the middle and since Rahul has been opening for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, the selectors decided to pick Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson’s as wicketkeeper-batters. On missing T20Is for more than a year, Rohit, on the other hand, revealed that he wanted to focus on Test cricket at that time.
